It Works: If You See Something Say Something

Checkmate · Aug 21, 2019 ·

Here’s some good news you may not have heard this week; three potential mass shootings were foiled in three days.

Three young men ages 20 – 25, one from Daytona Beach, were arrested for expressing interest in the mass killing of innocent people.

Social media posts, family and friends all played a role in stopping the violence. All three have demonstrated a model, along with “red flag” laws, in thwarting domestic terrorism.

One troubled young man posted on Facebook his fascination for mass shootings which was reported to police, another’s grandmother neutralized his hotel massacre plot and a third’s girlfriend revealed to authorities his despicable plans.

The good news is that three disasters were averted and people saw something and said something, which is a model for us all.
